Long service, new additions and new contracts

Firstly congratulation go out this month to COR’s Regional Manager, Jim Watson who has completed ten-years of loyal and committed service to COR, particularly to the UAE market, which he has been largely responsible for building up to be one of our most lucrative global markets.

We also take the opportunity to welcome Mr, Adham Machaal and Mr. Mathew Varghese.

Adham brings a lot of local knowledge and, having worked previously as a Drilling Engineer and will provide our clients with a very technical response to their problems.

Mathew has spent a lot of his career in the Middle East region and we are very fortunate to have him join our Company where he brings his extensive product knowledge, particularly in respect to Pressure Control Equipment. He has already made an immediate impact in raising COR’s profile in this particular product line.

The first quarter of 2010 has started well for COR with new contracts being secured in markets such as Yemen, Oman and Syria.

COR has also committed funding to bringing in high-spec drillpipe to support our growing market in this region, which we feel will provide our clients with a technical and commercial solution to their drilling activities.
